Delete your Scrutina account

In the app

1. Open Scrutina and go to Settings.
2. Tap Account & sync.
3. Tap Delete my account and confirm.

Your account is deleted straight away.

Without the app

Email privacy@scrutina.app from the address you sign in with, with the subject “Delete my Scrutina account”. We may ask you to confirm from that address. We delete the account within 30 days, usually much sooner, and reply when it is done.

What is deleted

• your account and email address;
• everything synced to it: profile, diary, weight log, water, recipes, favourites, household and its diaries;
• your reviews and the reports on them, the people you blocked, your display name, friend code and friend links.

Copies in our hosting provider’s backups expire on their normal schedule, within 30 days. We keep nothing else.

What is not deleted

Data on your phone is not touched: it stays until you delete the app. Product information you added to Open Food Facts belongs to that open database and stays there. Tips are records kept by Apple or Google.

Only want to stop syncing?

Sign out instead, from Settings, Account & sync. Your data stays on the phone and on your account.
